To Apply as a Family
Each year, Camp Knock Knock accepts 12-15 families on a first-come, first-serve basisckk_read.jpg. Criteria for families are that a loved one has died and that a parent or guardian accompanies children. There is a non-refundable $50 fee per family. Scholarships are available upon request. Campers have the opportunity to participate in the following activities: grief workshops (for adults and children), remembrance ceremonies, recreation, arts and crafts, nature walks, campfires, sing-alongs, spiritual gathering, treasure hunt, family time, and storytelling. To Volunteer at CKK
Volunteers are needed for all aspects of camp, including recreational activities, arts andckk_hands.jpg crafts, setup and cleanup, facilitating grief workshops, and assisting with grief workshops. Mandatory volunteer training takes place every year, approximately one month prior to Camp. The training session includes teambuilding exercises, discussions of essential skills, an overview of the stages of childhood grief and other significant activities.
