Kids in the Kitchen

In February 2006, Junior Leagues from across four countries launched an initiative called “Junior Leagues’ Kids in the Kitchen,” designed to help communities address the urgent issues surrounding childhood obesity and poor nutrition. Through the program JLCV members visit local classrooms to demonstrate healthy food recipes. This project will help Vermont families with children better plan and prepare healthy food.
